About Epact™

Epact™ is an online application built specifically for United Way organizations in North America by DevStudios International Inc., a Canadian company. A collaboration of Canadian United Ways are leading the development of e-pact with DevStudios. The United Ways that make up the e-pact Collaborative are: United Way of Alberta Capital Region (project lead), United Way of Calgary and Area, United Way of Winnipeg, and United Way of the Lower Mainland (Vancouver).

This affordable and robust application allows United Ways to receive funding applications through the Internet. Agencies seeking funding enter all of their data securely. All data is stored in real-time. This allows for immediate access to information through e-pact's reporting utilities, eliminating the paper chase for important data required by Boards, management, campaigners, and researchers.

Features

• epact replaces the current paper driven process, although all funding applications can also be printed out if users wish to have paper copies.
• epact allows for unlimited proposals with unlimited sections and unlimited questions in each section. The Form Development Wizard ensures that each United Way can create their own unique forms, or select components from the samples provided.
• epact provides multiple response formats, including direct input, cut and paste functionality, pick list responses, and file uploads in various formats.
• epact provides real time reporting on agency and program information, statistics, financial information, results, and can even collect and report on success stories.
• epact facilitates and supports local, provincial/state, regional, and national reporting of United Way activities and results through the development of a common lexicon of “dimension tags.
• epact allows for easy submission of applications, timely communication through its mailbox feature, and for automatic routing of proposals to reviewers.
• epact tracks and reports on recommendations and final decisions.
• epact has an internal messaging system to support individual and mass emails to agencies.
